Fjord Trail is a hiking companion for Norway. We built it to respect your privacy: we operate no servers of our own, we have no user accounts, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. This policy explains what happens to data on your device.
With your permission, Fjord Trail uses your device location while you are using the app to:
Your location is processed on your device. To fetch the information above, your approximate coordinates are sent to the public data providers listed below. We do not store your location on any server we control. You can turn location access on or off at any time in the iOS Settings app.
The following stay only on your device and are removed when you delete the app:
When you use related features, requests (which include your IP address and, where relevant, coordinates) are sent to these public services. They process that data under their own privacy policies:
Fjord Trail is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Location access can be revoked in iOS Settings.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version at this URL.
